MInamoto Naohiro
Hi Bill,
The signature reads:
There were few smiths called Naohiro (see here). Some of them were working around Genji and Meiji eras (1864-1912) and the rest - in 20th century. Judging by the colour of the nakago I would look at the first group. I looked into Nihonto Meikan and I couldn't find a smith who signed 'Minamoto', therefore I can't narrow down the search based just on signature. You will need to look at the features of the blade to identify the smith.
Regards,
Stan
