I'm looking for someone to look at a sword I was recently given by my father-in-law. I got some initial impressions from some folks online, but I'd love to take it to someone.
Is there someone in Colorado (preferably Colorado Springs or Denver, but will travel up to Fort Collins) I can take it to? Or is there a general category I can search (museum staff, university faculty, local groups, etc)? I'm not looking to sell, just looking to find out more. And if possible, maybe a little restoration on the saya as it's in rough shape.
